Tribute to Janice Grimley, 1957 - 2026

We met when I first started teaching Clubbercise, now I’ve finished teaching it and you have left too 😥. I’ve had 10 years of knowing you, knowing what a kind and caring person you are. 10 years of friendship, 10 years of you looking out for me…. My ‘Corby mum’ ❤️💕💙💜💞. 10 years of you dressed brightly with your glowsticks on the dance floor with me 🤗🌈….. you’d always say after a good track ‘ I bloody love that one!’ 😁. Every charity event I did, you’d be there! Helping me set up, as you always did with my classes. We used to joke about me picking you up off the street corner 😂… whenever I run past that corner now I always smile and think of you. Lots of happy memories to make me smile, but so sad we are not making anymore….. you’ve grown your wings far too soon….. and as you would always say ‘it’s true that!’ Love you so much Janice…. My Clubbercise pal, my very treasured and dear friend. Keep dancing, keep glowing….🌈💃😘

My very good friend Janice 💖 we met over 20yrs ago through joining the same band as Mick we hit it off straight away… and when I was out of work you offered me a job and that’s when the fun began coz when I say job it was like a day or night out wi your best pal but getting paid honestly it was an absolute joy to work with Janice.. I loved her work ethics 🙌🏻 ❤️ she told me about when she was younger she done ballroom dancing and obviously she smashed that too 💃🏻🌟 I went with Janice to a few different exercise classes and aye she was right in there smashing it 🙌🏻💪🏻 so if we were working a doo and a song came on we would do the moves behind the bar and if Proud Mary came OOFF 🙌🏻😂 it was an absolute joy and pleasure to work with you hen 🤩💖 we had a fantastic time away to London to see the Tina Turner show and many other great nights out and adventures we shared 💃🏻💃🏻🥂 you will be greatly missed by so many ppl you touch over the years my friend 💔❤️ I hope Mick and all of your amazing daughters can take some of your admirable strength to help them get through this unbelievable heartbreak they are all going through 💔💪🏻❤️ Rest In Peace Janice ❤️ All my Love forever your wee pal Elaine until we meet again hen 💖❤️xxx

Janice you are an amazing person, 34 years ago our paths crossed you were so kind and included me in your family when mine turned their backs on me, you never judged and never changed after all these years, the world is going to be a much different place now you are not here, I will forever miss you and never be able to thank you for everything and the support you gave me. You really are a true legend and an absolutely amazing lady, until we meet again, you will always have a special place in my heart x

What always amazed me about my nanny is how much love, strength,personality and resilience could fit in one tiny woman. I already miss her wicked cackle and the thought of not being able to sing along while she belts out a tune on kareoke.If my nanny Janice gave you a tut and told you to piss off it means she probably liked you but god help you if were ever victim to her death glare from over the top of her glasses.If you weren't a little scared of my nanny you're probably lying to yourself. I Love you. Not gone from us but before us ,just another way to lead the ones you love.
